Am I required to make my property available to Section 8?
The choice for property owners to enter the Section 8 Housing Program is strictly up to the property owner. For more information, property owners can refer to https://www.tdhca.texas.gov -
Are you licensed?
Yes, all personnel are licensed agents and Rental Network Property Management, Inc. is a licensed real estate brokerage. -
Can I reach you after hours?
We are always available by email, and through our website. Our office phone number (915)581-4900 forwards messages to our message system. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes, we ACH funds to our property owners. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
You can see a lease, but you give us specific power of attorney to sign the lease and to manage all aspects of your property. There is no need for you to sign a lease. -
Do you sell real estate too?
Yes, if you decide to sell your rental property, we list and can help you sell your property. We can also help you purchase more rental properties. -
How and when do I get my checks?
We will attempt to ACH your funds to you on or before the 10th of the month. -
How is rent collection handled?
Tenants can pay their rent online through our rental collection portal, or they can bring in a money order to our office. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
We generally sign a 1-year lease, renewable of course. Two year leases can also be signed. We have had tenants stay with us up to 10 years. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
Generally we charge a full month’s rent, payable before move-in. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
As soon as the paperwork is signed and returned to the office. -
What type of properties do you manage?
Single family homes, duplexes, four-plexes, condos, small apartments up to 14 units. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
You will receive monthly statements of activity, along with a transaction summary by email, and you will also be given access to your online portal to view property history. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
The company holds the security deposit in a separate escrow account.
